FAQ

Can I get a price estimate for a tattoo online or by calling the shop?

No, we do not provide quotes online or over the phone. There are many factors that go into pricing a tattoo, and the consultation is when we discuss all of those elements. You are given a quote at the time of your consultation with the artist who will be performing the tattoo. Contact us today for your complimentary consultation.

Do you take walk-ins?

We are appointment only, and do not maintain open shop hours. With that said, if you are looking for a last-minute opening we may be able to accommodate you. Just fill out the contact form or call 727-232-2339 and we will work with your schedule to the best of our ability.

Can I see the drawing before my appointment?

No, we do not send out drawings prior to the appointment. This is for multiple reasons, but it ultimately comes down to time and protecting the artist’s work. Artists spend many hours on the drawings prior to the appointment, and up until the day of they are making small adjustments to ensure that the tattoo will not only meet your expectations, but will age well over time.

How long will it take to heal?

In general, it takes about two weeks to fully heal.

Do you offer permanent make-up?

Yes! Shauna provides permanent make-up services. Right now, she is focusing only on brow services exclusively.

What if I need to cancel? What happens to my deposit?

We require a 48 hour cancellation notice otherwise you will forfeit your deposit. If you cancel with less than 48 hour notice you will be required to pay another deposit to reschedule the appointment. Please keep in mind that canceling with less than 48 hour notice makes it extremely difficult for us to reschedule the appointment with other clients, and negatively impacts our business.

Do you offer piercings?

No, we are a tattoo shop only.

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash is preferred, but we do accept debit, credit and mobile payments through Venmo, Zelle and ApplePay.

How old do I have to be? What if I have parental consent?

You must be 18 years or older at the time of your appointment. We do not tattoo minors under any circumstances.

Our shop uses Saniderm bandages to protect the skin and promote faster healing with better results.

Saniderm After Care:

  1. Do not remove the Saniderm bandage for at least the first 48 hours. Ideally you should leave the bandage on for 72 hours.
  2. Remove the film (it is much easier to remove while in the shower) and wash thoroughly with warm water and the provided soap.
  3. Pat dry and use the provided lotion to keep the area moisturized. Ideally you would use an aftercare balm, such as Sanibalm or Sanibalm Plus, which promotes better color retention and healing. We do offer premium aftercare products for sale in shop.

Avoid the sun, tanning booth, pool and beach for at least two weeks!

Traditional After Care Instructions:

  1. After three (3) hours, gently remove the bandage and wash the area with warm water and mild soap. Pat dry, and apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor or use Sanibalm aftercare. Re-bandage with plastic wrap.
  2. Repeat this process three times per day for a minimum of 3 days. Be sure to keep the tattoo covered.
  3. After three days, remove the bandage and switch from Aquaphor to a simple non-scented lotion. If you are using Sanibalm, continue use. Keep the area moisturized until the skin returns to its pre-tattoo condition.
  4. Do not rub or pick the tattoo. Loss of color and/or infection can occur.
  5. Do not soak in the tub–showers are fine.

Avoid the sun, tanning booth, pool and beach for at least two weeks!
