FAQ

Can I get a price estimate for a tattoo online or over the phone?

No, you are given a quote at the time of your consultation which is free.

Do you take walk-ins?

I am appointment only. To schedule an appointment, fill out the contact form and we will be in touch shortly.

Can I see the drawing before my appointment?

I do not send emails or photos of custom drawings prior to the appointment. This is for multiple reasons, but it ultimately comes down to time restraints and protecting my artwork.

How long will it take to heal?

In general, it takes about two weeks to fully heal.

What if I need to cancel?

At the consultation you will be given my cell phone number. Please contact me immediately to reschedule or cancel your appointment. I ask that you respect my time and notify me ASAP so that I have an opportunity to fill that appointment slot.

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash is preferred.

How old do I have to be? What if I have parental consent?

You must be 18 years or older at the time of your appointment. I do not tattoo minors under any circumstances.

I prefer to use Saniderm bandages to protect the skin and promote faster healing with better results.

Saniderm After Care:

  1. Do not remove the Saniderm bandage for at least the first 48 hours. Ideally you should leave the bandage on for 72 hours.
  2. Remove the film (it is much easier to remove while in the shower) and wash thoroughly with warm water and the provided soap.
  3. Pat dry and use the provided lotion to keep the area moisturized. Ideally you would use an aftercare balm, such as Sanibalm or Sanibalm Plus, which promotes better color retention and healing. We do offer premium aftercare products for sale in shop.

Avoid the sun, tanning booth, pool and beach for at least two weeks!

Traditional After Care Instructions:

  1. After three (3) hours, gently remove the bandage and wash the area with warm water and mild soap. Pat dry, and apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor or use Sanibalm aftercare. Re-bandage with plastic wrap.
  2. Repeat this process three times per day for a minimum of 3 days. Be sure to keep the tattoo covered.
  3. After three days, remove the bandage and switch from Aquaphor to a simple non-scented lotion. If you are using Sanibalm, continue use. Keep the area moisturized until the skin returns to its pre-tattoo condition.
  4. Do not rub or pick the tattoo. Loss of color and/or infection can occur.
  5. Do not soak in the tub–showers are fine.

Avoid the sun, tanning booth, pool and beach for at least two weeks!
